Shipping, Returns and Refunds policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from our BASC Shop. If for any reason you are not, we are happy to help with returns, exchanges or refunds under the following terms.
- What this Policy Covers
- This policy applies to all purchases made via BASC Shop (website), including standard, sale, custom, international orders (where applicable unless exceptions are clearly stated).
- It covers both defective / faulty items and returns due to change of mind (non-defective items), unless a product is clearly marked “no returns” or similar in the product description, in which case this exception is stated.
- Access & Transparency
- This Returns Policy is available clearly and conspicuously on our website (e.g. footer, product pages, during checkout) without requiring customer login or registration.
- The policy is consistent across all relevant channels: the website, email receipts, product descriptions, and Merchant Centre feed.
- If there are country-specific or product-specific exceptions, these are clearly marked and communicated (see “Exceptions” section).
- Return Window (Standard Items)
- You may return any standard item (non-defective) within 30 calendar days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange. We will not accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return, we may elect to send it back to your default delivery address and ask you to cover the deliver costs.
- The item must be returned in its original condition: unused, unworn, undamaged, with all original packaging, labels and tags.
- Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 5 working days of receipt.
- We will offer a replacement, refund, or exchange, at your choice, for a different item at the same value, at no extra cost.
- Exchanges
- If you want an exchange (different size, colour, or item), please specify the replacement when contacting us.
- Subject to stock availability.
- Any price difference will be handled (refund if the replacement is cheaper, or invoice/payment if more expensive).
- Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 10 working days.
- You will be notified when your return has been received and when your refund is issued.
- Return Shipping, Fees & Restocking
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.
- If returning due to change of mind (non-fault), customer is responsible for return postage, unless otherwise stated.
- A restocking fee may apply in certain circumstances (for example if returned without original packaging or tags missing, or in used condition). If so, this will be clearly disclosed before purchase or in the product listing.
- Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Some items may be excluded from returns due to hygiene, safety or other reasons (e.g. custom items, personalised products, intimate apparel, etc.). These will be clearly stated in the product description.
- Method of Return
- Returns by mail / courier: You must pack securely in original packaging (if possible). We may provide a return label in certain cases (faulty / wrong items) or at cost to customer in others.
- If returns in-store or via drop-off are available, these options will be indicated.
- Refund Processing Time
- After we receive and inspect your return, refunds will be processed within 10 working days to the original method of payment.
- Special cases (customs, international returns, etc.) might take longer; in that case we will inform you.
- Country / Currency Specifics
- This policy applies to all countries we ship to unless stated otherwise.
- Return windows, shipping fees, and refund timelines may vary for international orders due to local laws or shipping complexity — where different, these are clearly indicated.
- All refunds are given in the currency used for the original purchase.

- Includes information about shipping costs, delivery times (estimates), delivery methods, tracking, duties and taxes (for international orders), and what happens in case of delays or lost/damaged shipments.
- Access & Transparency
- This Shipping Policy is clearly displayed on our website (footer, during checkout, on product pages), without the need to login.
- The shipping policy in the Merchant Centre feed must match what is on the website and in all customer-facing materials.
- If shipping times, costs, or terms vary by region, item, or service (standard vs express, domestic vs international), these are clearly communicated.
- Shipping Destinations
- We ship to the UK as standard, and internationally upon request. For international shipping enquiries, please contact marketing@basc.org.uk.
- For international shipping, we include information on customs, duties, import taxes: who is responsible (customer or seller).
- Shipping Methods & Carriers
- We use reliable carriers/carriers such as Royal Mail and DHL.

- Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are displayed clearly at checkout (before final payment).
- If we offer free shipping thresholds (e.g. free UK shipping over £X), this is clearly stated.
- For returns due to change of mind, return shipping is not included and is paid by the customer, unless otherwise stated (see Returns Policy).
- Processing Time
- Orders are processed within three working days of receiving payment.
- If item is backordered or special / custom order, estimated processing (or manufacture) time is clearly stated in product page.
- Delivery Failures, Lost or Damaged Shipments
- If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within three working days of expected delivery with photos or proof, so we can investigate or arrange a replacement/refund.
- For international orders, customer may need to assist with customs paperwork or provide proof of import duties paid, if required.
- Duties, Taxes & Customs (International Shipping)
- Any customs duties, import taxes or handling fees imposed by destination country are the buyer’s responsibility, unless otherwise stated.
- We endeavour to estimate these during checkout or provide guidance, but actual charges are determined by local authorities.
- Exceptions, Delays & Force Majeure
- Delivery estimates are provided in good faith, but may be affected by external factors (weather, carrier delays, customs hold-ups, public holidays).
- If there is a delay of more than seven business days, we will notify the customer and offer options (e.g. cancel, refund, alternative shipping).
